Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 2026

Arkon Resources, Inc. (“Arkon Mounts,” “we Nar,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to safeguarding your personal information. This Privacy Policy and California Privacy Notice (“Policy”) describes how we collect, use, disclose, and retain your personal information when you visit arkon.com (the “Site”), purchase our heavy-duty mounting solutions, or interact with our digital marketing channels.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., and we utilize professional third-party services to automate our business, analyze traffic, and market our products. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties in exchange for money. However, like many e-commerce brands, we share data with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, which is defined as a "sale" or "sharing" under California law. You have the absolute right to opt out of this tracking at any time.

1. Notice at Collection

At or before the time of collection, California law requires us to provide you with notice of the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which they are used, and how long they are retained.

We collect identifiers (name, contact details, IP address), commercial information (purchase history, warranty registrations), and internet/network activity (browsing behavior). We use this information to process your orders, fulfill lifetime warranty claims, optimize user experience, deliver personalized marketing, and maintain site security. We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill these specified business purposes.

3. Data Automation, Disclosures, & Data "Sharing"

We coordinate our operations using professional data processors to maximize business efficiency. Over the past 12 months, we have disclosed personal information to the following categories of service providers and third parties:

  • E-Commerce Infrastructure (Shopify): Your data is securely hosted and processed by Shopify Inc. to manage our catalog, process shopping carts, and handle secure checkouts.
  • Data Routing & Automation (Zapier): We utilize Zapier to securely bridge data between internal business tools (e.g., instantly moving a customer contact form or quote request safely into our internal CRM). Zapier acts strictly as a secure data processor and is prohibited from using your data for any independent purpose.
  • Email & SMS Marketing (Klaviyo): We use Klaviyo to manage our subscriber lists, deploy promotional campaigns, and automate cart abandonment reminders.
  • Advertising & Analytics Partners: We share internet activity identifiers with analytics providers (Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity) and advertising platforms (Meta, Google Ads, Pinterest, TikTok, Beeswax) to serve relevant, targeted advertisements across the internet. Under California law, this automated transmission of tracking pixels is categorized as "selling" or "sharing" data for cross-context advertising.

We do not knowingly sell, rent, or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

4. Cookies & Consent Management (Cookiebot)

We deploy Cookiebot Consent Management Platform (CMP) to give you total control over the tracking technologies running on our Site.

  • Consent Framework: When you first visit our site, the Cookiebot banner allows you to explicitly "Accept" or "Reject" specific functional categories of cookies (Preferences, Statistics, Marketing). Strictly necessary cookies required to run the checkout mechanism or secure transactions are deployed automatically.
  • Withdrawal of Consent: You can dynamically change or withdraw your tracking consent at any time by clicking the interactive Cookiebot Privacy Trigger located in the bottom corner of our website.
  • Cookie Declaration: Our Site automatically scans and categorizes tracking mechanisms. For a complete, updated, transparent catalog of individual cookies, providers, storage durations, and classification statuses (Necessary, Preferences, Statistics, Marketing), please refer to the live interactive table maintained by Cookiebot below.

5. Data Retention Standards

Arkon Mounts adheres to a strict data minimization protocol. We retain your personal information only for the minimum period necessary to satisfy the commercial purposes outlined in this policy:

  • Transactional & Warranty Records: Customer identifiers, commercial purchase histories, and warranty registration profiles are retained for the functional lifetime of the product line to properly service our lifetime warranty commitments.
  • Marketing Profiles: Information utilized for Klaviyo email and SMS distributions is retained until you opt out, unsubscribe, or request formal account erasure.
  • Technical Logs & Cookies: Automatically collected network activity and cookie identifiers are retained for durations specified by the Cookiebot framework, maxing out at a maximum of 2 years for persistent analytics tokens (such as Google Analytics _ga tokens).

6. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), grants you specific, legally enforceable rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Know and Access: You have the right to request that we disclose what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, and "sold" or "shared" about you over the preceding 12 months.
  • Right to Delete: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information collected or maintained by us, subject to specific statutory exceptions (such as completing an ongoing transaction, fulfilling a lifetime warranty claim, or complying with a legal legal obligation).
  • Right to Correct: You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we maintain about you.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: You have the right to direct us to stop sharing your personal information with third-party networks for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you (e.g., by denying goods, charging different prices, or providing a lesser level of quality) for choosing to exercise any of your privacy rights.

How to Exercise Your Privacy Rights

To submit a verifiable request to exercise your Right to Know, Access, Correct, or Delete, please contact us through one of our formal processing channels:

  • Online Request Form: Submit a Request via our Contact Page
  • Email Requests: marketing @ arkon . com
  • Toll-Free Phone Support: (800) 841-0884 (Available Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM PST)

The Verification Process

To protect your privacy and security, we must verify your identity before executing a data release, correction, or deletion request. When you submit a request, we will match the email address and transactional data you provide against the records securely held within our Shopify and Klaviyo databases. If you utilize an Authorized Agent to submit a request on your behalf, we require written, signed permission from you or a valid power of attorney demonstrating their legal authorization.

Global Privacy Control (GPC) & Automated Opt-Out Signals

Our Site is configured to recognize and respect browser-based opt-out preference signals. If your browser utilizes the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, our cookie management system automatically treats that signal as a valid, real-time directive to opt out of marketing cookies and behavioral ad sharing, equivalent to opting out manually via our Cookiebot banner.

7. International Data Transfers

While Arkon Mounts is headquartered in California, United States, our digital footprint is global. If you are visiting our Site from the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other international jurisdictions, please note that the personal information we collect will be transferred to, and processed in, the United States. We ensure that our primary data processors (such as Shopify) utilize valid legal data transfer mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), to protect your personal data globally.

8. Updates to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time to reflect changing operational tools, updated cookie configurations, or evolving state and federal privacy regulations. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
